Marathon Gold Corp (TSE:MOZ) was recommended as a speculative buy with a price target of C$1.10 by analysts at Mackie Research on Wednesday.
Marathon released results for 6 holes drilled over 250 metres immediately southwest of Marathon gold resource, showing once again a very large low-grade zone of greater than 60 metres at 2.2 g/t at depth, and evidence of a narrow high-grade vein of 7 g/t over 2 metres immediately adjacent to the wider intercept.
“The Valentine project is clearly host of a large gold system. We continue to anticipate successful drill results as MOZ continues to drill an aggressive campaign into 2017,” the broker said in a note.
Marathon shares were unchanged at C$0.75 on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Workday, Inc. (NYSE:WDAY) was upgraded to Neutral from Underperform by brokers at Wedbush, who also raised the price target to $82 from $69.
“Our upgrade of WDAY shares is based on a more positive perception of potential 2H sales activity, following a 1H which we think wasn't as good as generally believed.,” the broker said.
“Our conversations with integrators at Workday Rising yesterday suggest that 2H activity could be picking up; these comments mirror management's confident and relaxed tone at WDAY's analyst meeting. Also, although hoped-for acceleration in 2H deal activity is uncertain, we no longer see failure to meaningfully beat and raise guidance for subscription revenue as a sufficient downside catalyst for WDAY shares,” they added.
Workday shares were 0.9% higher at $90.55.
Myokardia Inc (NASDAQ:MYOK) shares soared by 7.2% to $16.20 after broker Wedbush reiterated an Outperform recommendation on the stock and raised the price target to $24 from $22.
“We walked away from the (a R&D Day) last week with increased confidence on the path ahead for MYK-461 and MYOK's pipeline strategy, with next 12 months expected to provide important data catalysts and substantial ($70mln) non-dilutive cash infusion from partner Sanofi,” Wedbush said.
It was less good cheer for Paychex, Inc. (NASDAQ:PAYX), whose shares were 4.6% lower at $57.52 after Wedbush maintained the stock at Neutral and price target at $65.
Wedbush highlighted the in-line first quarter results and weaker-than-expected full-year 2017 guidance.
