Brokers: Henderson and Tullow Oil downgraded by brokers

Henderson Group and Tullow Oil were both downgraded by brokers on Thursday

Investment group Henderson Group PLC (LON:HGG) has been downgraded to an ‘equal weight’ rating from ‘overweight’ by Barclays Capital, with the bank also cutting its price targeting by 30% to 210p from 300p.

Henderson was also bumped down to ‘underperform’ from ‘hold’ by Jefferies International, which also slashed its share price target to 172p from 240p.

Consumer goods giant Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC (LON:RB.) saw its rating downgraded to ‘neutral’ from ‘overweight’, with the banking giant also lowering its target price to 7000p.

Tullow Oil plc (LON:TLW) was downgraded by broker Cantor Fitzgerald to ‘sell’ from its previous ‘hold’ recommendation, but maintained its target price of 163p.

Liberum also repeated its ‘sell’ recommendation for the oil firm and reiterated 178p target price.

On a more positive note, the same broker reiterated its ‘top buy’ recommendation for broadcaster ITV PLC (LON:ITV). The broker also repeated its 375p target for the stock.

Shore capital markets reiterated its ‘buy’ recommendation for online clothes retailer ASOS PLC (LON:ASC) and repeated its 3768p price target.

On to the small caps, and Cantor Fitzgerald reiterated its ‘buy’ recommendation for Hummingbird Resources Limited (LON:HUM) and repeated its target price of 32p for the gold explorer.
