Berenberg fizzes up price target on Fevertree Drinks plc

German bank Berenberg is all fizzed up about tonic water and mixer firm Fevertree (LON:FEVR), and has upgraded the target to 600p from 570p previously. It rates shares a 'hold'.

"We like Fevertree due to its leading position in a niche market that is set to multiply by 4-5x over the next ten years," said analyst Ned Hammond.

Last year was "outstanding" for the firm, said the broker, and it saw EBITDA margins expanding almost 200bp.

"In our view, earnings momentum will remain strong in the near term as penetration of premium mixers continues at a rapid pace."

The same broker also became more switched on to independent broadcaster ITV (LON:ITV) and lifts its rating on the shares to 'hold' from 'sell'.

Its full year results were positive but the market response to the weaker outlook statement was appropriate, said Berenberg.

"Although we continue to worry that ITV faces some difficult structural issues in the next few years, we think valuation is now more realistic," said analyst Sarah Simon.

The price target is 240p compared to a current price of around 243p.

Also in brokerland today, Swiss house UBS downgrades Cairn Energy (LON:CNE) to 'neutral' from 'buy' and department store retailer Debenhams (LON:DEB) gets short shrift from Investec.

The broker moves the stock to 'sell' from 'reduce'.

Elsewhere, Japanese house Nomura moves Standard Chartered (LON:STAN) to 450p from 480p.

In small casp, Rame Energy PLC (LON:RAME) is about to switch on its 1.8MW wind project to supply power to miner Mandalay Resources Corp's (TSE:MND) Cerro Bayo gold mine in the Patagonia region of Chile under a five year plan, it told investors today. The Cerro Coihue project, estimated to provide the firm with revenues of more than $400,000 a year, involves three turbines in a very remote location and has been financed in cooperation with German partner, Anden Re. Shares in Rame added 3.03% to 8.50p on the day, against a target from house broker Cantor of 24p. It says the firm's progress on the Cerro Colhue off-grid project followed the announced sale of two of its on-grid projects. "We see these announcements as proving the business model, with larger assets being monetised and smaller assets supporting development," said analyst Adam Forsyth. "Along with last week’s announcement of service revenue for the Raki and Huajache projects, the fee income here gives us greater confidence that our forecast improvement in service profitability can be delivered." Keywords Studios (LON:KWS) was upgraded by house broker finncap after its upbeat trading statement last month. Profits at the computer games services group should be 8% higher than previously expected in 2015 at €7.8mln, while sales will be 1% better at €57.5mln, said the broker. Numbers for 2016 have been left unchanged for now, it added. Keywords’ traditional business is the translating of video games into local languages, but newer service lines such as customer support and art creation are also making good contributions.
