Botswana Diamonds (LON:BOD) said today that it expects its shares to begin trading on the Botswana Stock Exchange at the end of this month.
The firm said it had satisfied all requirements for listing on the venture capital board of the Botswana exchange and expects its shares to begin trading there on 27 June this year.
It added that the current admission to trading on AIM remained unaffected.
Earlier in the month, the company said exploration in Cameroon had identified possible diamond bearing rock. It reported that a small diamond was recovered from a sample taken from a stream in the same area where the conglomerate was identified.
A follow-up drilling and trenching/pitting programme will now be undertaken to determine the extent of the rocks and whether they are diamondiferous.
