Pursuit Dynamics (LON:PDX) has secured a contract to supply a PDX reactor system to a major European food manufacturer.

The client company, which makes branded and white label ambient food, soups, sauces and frozen products, will use the system in multiple product lines.

Pursuit called this a significant contract win in a growing pipeline within the food industry.

“The supply of the PDX reactor system to this key food preparation site underlines the attractions of the PDX technology to the food and beverages market and we look forward to announcing more agreements in due course,” said chief executive of Pursuit Dynamics Roel Pieper.

PDX owns and commercialises the PDX Atomiser and Reactor technologies that enable significant reductions in energy usage, process acceleration and result enhancement for a wide range of industrial processes and applications.

The PDX business model is currently organised into six lines of business - Biofuels; Brewing, Food and Beverages; Public Health and Decontamination; Industrial Licensing; Water and New Ventures.

PDX is headquartered in Huntingdon, UK, with offices in London, Schaffhausen in Switzerland and Connecticut in the US.

Last month, PDX and Pacific Ethanol agreed formal terms for the full commercial use of Pursuit’s Ethanol Reactor System (ERS). PDX said it expected that revenues would be generated during the first calendar quarter.

Shares in Pursuit Dynamics rose 2.5 percent to 271 pence on the news this morning.
