CentralNic Group PLC (LON:CNIC) has confirmed the A$24mln acquisition of TPP Wholesale Group has completed. 

The Australian domain names and hosting specialist has around 14,000 reseller customers and 840,000 domains under management.

Last year it generated A$17mln of revenues and underlying profits (EBITDA) of A$3.9mln.

CentralNic is now the leading supplier to domain name and hosting resellers in Australasia, said Ben Crawford, CentralNic chief executive.

“The acquisition is also earnings enhancing, provides numerous cost synergies, and enables us to participate in the proposed launch of the new .au domain extension,” he added.

The company expects the acquisition of Hexonet Group, announced last month, to complete on August 5.
