TruTrace Technologies Inc (CSE:TTT) (OTCQB:TTTSF) is running medical cannabis verification pilot program in partnership with Canadian retailer Shoppers Drug Mart, and The Flowr Corporation (CVE:FLWR) (OTC:FLWPF) is getting in on the fun.
The program uses TruTrace’s StrainSecure technology to collect data from cannabis plants and performs genomic verification tests on future batches to insure quality and consistency.

Flowr supplies Shoppers Drug Mart with its FlowrRx line of medical cannabis products.

TruTrace has developed an integrated blockchain platform to register and track intellectual property in the cannabis sector. The company saw its share price rise 2% to C$0.26 on the CSE and 1.7% to US$0.20 on OTC Markets.
Flowr is a medical and recreational cannabis producer based in Toronto. Its stock held flat at C$4.83 on the TSXV and declined 1.6% to $3.66 on OTC Markets.
