The former chief technology officer of the London Metal Exchange’s (LME) clearing house will remain in the role for about six months, the company said.
Greig joined Brady, which provides trading, risk management and settlement solutions to the commodity and energy markets, as a non-executive director in March.
He led the technical build and launch of the new clearing house for the London Metal Exchange as chief technology officer for the new business. He then went on to become chief operating officer of the business.
"Iain joined the board as a NED on the 4th of March 2019 and has since then contributed an enormous amount of knowledge, experience and focus to the product and strategic review we initiated at that time,” said Carmen Carey, who became chief executive of Brady in February.
“I am delighted Iain will be joining us on an interim basis to help drive the initiatives resulting from our strategic review and to support the recruitment of our permanent CTO."
