CentralNic Group PLC (LON:CNIC) has promoted its chief operating officer, Alex Siffrin, to the board.
The 42-year-old joined the internet domain names specialist last year following the reverse takeover of his company, KeyDrive.
Siffrin founded KeyDrive, a domain reseller and corporate services group, 21 years ago while studying physics and computer science at the Saarland University, Germany.
He is also managing partner of inter.services, CentralNic’s largest investor with a 19.87% stake.
Day to day at CentralNic, Siffrin is responsible for the management of “all operations and technical staff”.
"I take great pleasure in welcoming Alex to the board of CentralNic, who, as our largest shareholder and COO, is clearly committed to the success of the company,” said CentralNic chief executive Ben Crawford.
“A recognised pioneer and leader in the domain name industry, Alex's more than two decades of experience have brought significant value to CentralNic's management team over the past year, and will prove invaluable to the board."
