Constantine Metal Resources Ltd (CVE:CEM) (OTCMKTS:CNSNF) is moving forward with its spinout of HighGold following shareholder approval, the company announced Friday. The Vancouver-based company’s Johnson Tract gold project will be included in the spinout package to HighGold along with the Munro-Croesus project, the Golden Mile project and the Golden Perimeter projects in Timmins, Ontario, as well as a joint venture in Yukon and royalty rights in Ontario.

Cannvas MedTech Inc. (CSE:MTEC) (OTCMKTS:CANVF) said Friday that, further to its announcements on 10 July 2019, and 24 July 2019, it has closed the final tranche of its non-brokered private placement, which was to have issued an aggregate of 2,975,000 units for additional gross proceeds of $595,000. However, due to increased demand, the company added, the private placement has been oversubscribed by $102,500, raising total gross proceeds of $2,102,500 through the issuance of 10,512,500 units at $0.20 per unit.

Bonterra Resources Inc (CVE:BTR) (OTCMKTS:BONXF) announced Friday it is planning to raise up to C$27 million to fund ongoing exploration at the company’s Quebec gold projects The offering is backed by Sprott Capital Partners as lead agent in the financing. Val-d’Or, Quebec-based Bonterra’s key assets are in the Urban-Barry greenstone belt in the mineral-rich province of Quebec.

GSRX Industries Inc (OTCQB:GSRX) announced Friday that it has retained a well-known architect, Studio AR&D and Leap Interior Design to glam up the company’s newest cannabis dispensary in Palm Springs. By signing a lease in April for a second adult-use and medicinal cannabis dispensary in California, GSRX continues on its path, with a focus on the Golden State.

CytoDyn Inc (OTCMKTS:CYDY), said Friday that it had executed an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with cell diagnostic company IncellDX to sell non-commercial grade quantities of its PA-14 antibody for use in the development of immunoassays for measuring CCR5 levels in human cells. The Vancouver, Washington-based late-stage biotechnology company’s PA-14 antibody is the diagnostic designation of the murine version of its flagship leronlimab (PRO 140) drug. CEO Nader Pourhassan says the agreement marks an ‘important milestone’ as it puts CytoDyn firmly on pace to generate its first revenue over the next several months.

Precious metals producer Great Panther Mining (TSE:GPR) (NYSEAMERICAN:GPL) has reported a 165% increase in revenue in the second quarter due to production from its new Tucano mine in Brazil. Revenue for the three months to June 30 was US$45.3 million compared to US$17 million in the second quarter of 2018. The firm added the mine to its portfolio in March this year with the closing of the Beadell Resources acquisition.

Namaste Technologies Inc (CVE:N) (OTCMKTS:NXTTF) is gearing up for the legalization of edible CBD products in Canada after its recent acquisition of premium chocolate maker Choklat Inc. The Toronto-based cannabis company updated shareholders on Friday on its progress with the transaction, which was announced in March. Namaste now owns 49% of the chocolate company, which has non-infused products in over 150 retail outlets across Canada.

Codebase Ventures Inc (CSE:CODE) (OTCMKTS:BKLLF) says its investment mandate going forward will include opportunities in the cannabis sector and blockchain technologies with select exposure to cryptocurrencies. The company said its blockchain and cryptocurrency investments are building significant momentum, as it moves deeper into the cannabis space. On Wednesday launched a new subsidiary called Code Cannabis Investments that will identify early-stage assets and startups.

Cannabis One Holdings Inc (CSE:CBIS) beefed up its executive team Friday as two members of the board of directors were appointed to new positions. Joshua Mann was tapped to be the company’s president, and Chris Fenn will serve as chairman of the board. The two men have each served on the company’s board since it went public in March. Prior to their work with Cannabis One, Mann and Fenn co-founded and served as general partners of Wildhorse Capital Partners Inc, a merchant bank and capital markets advisory firm based in Calgary.

TIMIA Capital Corp (CVE:TCA), a specialty financing company, reported record revenue Friday in its fiscal second quarter. The company brought in $835,038, a 75% year-over-year jump, as income from collecting interest climbed 59% to a record $680,260, up from $428,940 in the year ago quarter. Overall, the company swung to a net loss of $490,358 from a net income of $769,371, primarily thanks to a limited partnership established in the quarter.

Antibe Therapeutics Inc (CVE:ATE) (OTCQB:ATBPF) is seeking to sell more than 23 million units in the company to raise C$7 million as it further develops its lead drug, ATB-346. The units will be sold for C$0.30 per unit, and each unit will be comprised of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrants. Each warrant allows the holder to purchase one common share at price of $0.40 for 36 months. ATB-346, which is undergoing a Phase 2B dose-ranging efficacy study, targets acute and chronic pain associated with osteoarthritis.

DXI Energy Inc (TSE:DXI) (OTCQB:DXIEF) has raised C$350,140 net after closing a private placing at C$0.06 a share to further development of the junior oiler's Gething natural gas play at Woodrush, British Columbia and for general working capital. CEO Simon Raven subscribed for over 4.3 million shares, representing 75% of the placing, while finance chief David N. Matheson subscribed for 1.4 million shares, which represents 25% of the placing.

Cabral Gold Inc (CVE:CBR) (OTCMKTS:CBGZF) said it had closed its oversubscribed private placing to advance exploration at its flagship Cuiú Cuiú gold project in Brazil, bringing in gross proceeds of C$3,419,524.80. The firm issued around 22.8 million units at C$0.15 a throw, with each unit consisting of one share and one share purchase warrant. The latter entitles the holder to buy one share for C$0.20 for 12 months following closing. Officers and directors of Cabral and their spouses subscribed for a total of around 1.9 million units for gross proceeds of $345,000, or 10.1% of the total raised.
