Horizon Minerals Ltd (ASX:HRZ) will be the new name for Intermin Resources Ltd (ASX:IRC) as of next Monday 29 July 2019.
Shareholders voted through the name change at the general meeting held yesterday on 24 July 2019.
The name change follows the recent merger between Intermin and MacPhersons Resources Ltd.
Horizon’s managing director Jon Price said: “On the back of the successful merger with MacPhersons Resources and progressing documentation and approvals for the potential Coolgardie Gold Project acquisition, we now look forward to an exciting new chapter in the company’s history.
“The Horizon team are now fully committed to delivering the consolidated Feasibility Study, mine development and production plans for the benefit of all stakeholders.”

Horizon is a gold exploration and development company with a key focus in the Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie regions of Western Australia.
The company has a busy September quarter planned with activities including:
• Progressing potential acquisition of the Coolgardie Gold Project;
• Updating the JORC resource for the Boorara Gold Project as part of the feasibility study;
• Drilling as part of the 2019 exploration program;
• Mining studies and metallurgical test work on the Crake and Anthill projects;
• Metallurgical test work and drill results from the Richmond Vanadium Project; and
• Resource modelling and progressing PFS for Lilyvale Vanadium Prospect.
