Polar Capital Technology Trust PLC (LON:PCT) saw a 25% increase in net assets in the year to the end of April.
Net asset value (NAV) per share improved by 24.7% 1,446.4p from 1,159.69p.
The company said the index it uses as a benchmark for its portfolio’s performance – the Dow Jones World Technology index - fell by 7.7% in the final quarter of 2018 but markets “have bounced significantly since December”.

“From an investment perspective, the sector provides an opportunity to benefit from returns from disruptors, as other parts of the economy suffer from disruption. It will not be a smooth ride, but it will be exciting,” said Sarah Bates, the chairman of the Polar Capital Technology Trust board.
Shares in PCT were down 0.1% at 836.8p in early deals.
