Anson Resources Ltd (ASX:ASN) has delivered its first sample of lithium carbonate to a cathode producer in China for testing purposes.
Notably, the prospective customer supplies cathodes to a number of battery manufacturers in China.
The sample was produced from brine sourced from Anson’s flagship Paradox Brine Project in Utah, US.
The test work is part of the design and engineering work underway for the planned in-field pilot plant.

Anson recently achieved a major milestone in its development of the Paradox Project with the release of a maiden JORC resource estimate.
The resource estimate toals 28.56 million tonnes of brine grading 173ppm lithium, 414ppm boron, 3,321ppm bromine and 166.5ppm iodine.
