AEP has partnered with Habitat for Humanity for three years, designing custom floors, windows and roof trusses

Atlas Engineered Products (TSXV:AEP) (OTCMKTS:APEUF) is helping Habitat for Humanity build homes in Vancouver, one floor board at a time.

The company announced the delivery of custom floors Tuesday to a duplex project in Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. The project will also feature AEP-made roof trusses.

The operation, the eighth Mid-Vancouver Habitat for Humanity project that AEP has helped build, is expected to be completed by December.

The Nanaimo, British Columbia company has partnered with Habitat for Humanity for three years, designing custom floors, windows and roof trusses. AEP sells the products at cost and donates the difference back to the program.

"It has always been part of our DNA to give back to the community wherever possible and being able to use our expertise to help Habitat for Humanity on Vancouver Island is a joy," AEP Director Hadi Abassi said. "Community engagement is one of the shared values of all the AEP companies across Canada and will be a core value for companies who become part of AEP in the future."
