MediaZest fits out Pets at Home’s two new ‘stores of the future’ with its audio-visual tech

“Despite the ongoing difficulties experienced within the UK and the global Retail Sector, new business wins have continued”

MediaZest PLC (LON:MDZ) has added billion-pound retailer Pets at Home Group PLC (LON:PETS) as a new client.

The AIM company recently provided audio-visual solutions for Pets at Home’s new ‘stores of the future’ in Stockport and Chesterfield.

MediaZest said the new client win showed it was still capable of winning new business despite the “ongoing difficulties” in the UK retail sector.

As well as Pets at Home, the company has also worked on new stores for existing clients including Lululemon, Kuoni and Tiffany.

Bosses have been looking to focus more on clients with multiple stores and the potential to roll out MediaZest’s AV solutions across the estate.

The group has also been pushing its managed service offering to those customers, which allows for revenue to be generated over several years.

MediaZest said this stratefgy has so far proved “particularly effective”, with £200,000 worth of recurring revenue contracts being signed between April and June.

Despite having opened higher, shares were down 4.6% to 0.081p on Monday morning.
