Trainline PLC (LON:TRN) posted a 20% increase in quarterly ticket sales in its first trading update since it made its debut on the London Stock Exchange.
The company, which sells rail and coach tickets on its website and mobile app, said net ticket sales rose to £906mln in the first quarter ended May 31 from £754mln a year ago.

Total UK ticket sales advanced 17% to £788mln with sales to consumers up 27% to £481mln and sales to businesses up 4% to £307mln.
International ticket sales gained 51% to £117mln.
"We are pleased with our first quarter performance, which demonstrates that Trainline continues to consolidate its position as the leading independent rail and coach travel platform," said chief executive Clare Gilmartin.
"The first quarter performance of the UK consumer business further demonstrates that the rollout of eTickets supported by a great app experience is shifting customers online and to mobile, with strong app performance also driving international growth."
Trainline maintained its full-year guidance that was provided at the time of its initial public offering in June.
Shares edged up 2.5% to 435p in morning trading.
The company made a solid start to trading in its London flotation with shares rising above the offer price of 350p, which was at the top end of its target range and valued the business at £1.68bn.
