ARC Minerals makes ‘very satisfactory’ start to Cheyeza East drilling

"This has been a very satisfactory start to our drilling campaign in Zambia," said Nick von Schirnding.

ARC Minerals Ltd (LON:ARCM) has updated investors on its maiden drill programme at the Cheyeza East project in Zambia.

The explorer noted that the first two holes have now been completed and visible mineralisation was intersected in both holes.

Significant mineralisation was observed in one hole, starting around 2 metres below surface.

"This has been a very satisfactory start to our drilling campaign in Zambia and I am pleased to see that the anomaly identified by the detailed geophysics and geochemistry completed last year has produced results,” said Nick von Schirnding, executive chairman.

“The drill cores have now been sent for assay and we expect results imminently.

“Additionally, we have identified another significant anomaly in the west of our licence areas and a further update will follow."
