Phunware Inc (NASDAQ:PHUN), a mobile cloud-based platform, launched its Phun utility tokens in international markets.
Phun tokens are a cryptocurrency that allows users around the globe to monetize their digital activity based on their interactions with brands. The token is only available outside the US and Canada.
The Austin, Texas company saw its shares rise 7% before the bell Wednesday to $3.51.

Phunware provides Multiscreen-as-a-Service offerings, including engagement, management and monetization initiatives that work for both iOS and Android.
The company also operates PhunCoin, a crypto that lets users monetize their digital identity and provides its holders with a company dividend.
