AfriTin hits “significant milestone” with completion of confirmatory drilling at Uis

Anthony Viljoen, CEO of AfriTin, highlighted that "notable grades" from ancillary elements could provide multiple revenue streams for the project in Namibia

AfriTin Mining Limited (LON:ATM) has concluded a confirmatory drilling programme at its flagship Uis Tin mine in Namibia, described as a “significant milestone” for the firm.

The AIM-listed group said the drilling was designed to support the declaration of a mineral resource estimate on the V1 and V2 pegmatites at the project.

Anthony Viljoen, chief executive of AfriTin, said an important element of the results was an intersection of 108.97 metres at 0.17% Tin, which indicated that the V1 and V2 pegmatites thickened with depth.

He also highlighted “notable grades” in the ancillary element points, which indicated potential for “multiple revenue streams” as the project advanced.

In mid-morning AfriTin’s shares were 1.5% higher at 3.4p.
