This year's Paris Air Show is proving to be particularly successful for Meggitt PLC (LON:MGGT).
On Tuesday, the aerospace and defence engineer revealed it had won a “multi-million dollar” supply contract with jet and helicopter maker Textron Inc (NYSE:TXT).

Meggitt has now confirmed it has also agreed to team up with Lufthansa’s Technik subsidiary to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for commercial aircraft in China.
“This is a long-term partnership for the fastest growing market in the world and combines Meggitt's OEM know- how with Lufthansa Technik MRO expertise,” said Stewart Watson, president of Meggitt’s services & support division.
“We have invested significantly in all our facilities across Asia as part of our global investment programme. Our ability to offer our Chinese customers an in-country capability will enhance the consistent, world-class levels of support we provide to our customers globally,” he added.
Having jumped at the opening bell, Meggitt shares fell back somewhat and were up 0.3% to 524p in morning deals on Thursday.
