Summit Therapeutics PLC (LON:SUMM) is in line to receive almost US$64mln from the US government to help fund the development of its ridinilazole antibiotic as a treatment for C. difficile (CDI). Bluejay Mining PLC (LON:JAY) has issued an updated 2019 work programme for its Dundas ilmenite project in Greenland. The AIM-listed firm said during the year it would focus on preparing a bulk smelter sample from the project to be shipped to the Sorel-Tracy plant in Quebec, Canada, owned by ilmenite refiner Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium Canada Inc, following an agreement between the two firms to jointly analyse the ilmenite from the Dundas project.

Renewable energy investor Greencoat UK Wind PLX (LON:UKW) has completed the £126mln purchase of a 75% stake in the Tom nan Clach wind farm in the Cairngorms. Greencoat initially agreed to buy the 75% stake in the 13-turbine farm from Belltown Power last autumn.
SIMEC Atlantis Energy Ltd (LON:SAE) has abandoned a plan to buy a portfolio of hydro-electric power assets in Scotland from its largest shareholder SIMEC Energy. The group announced last November that it would purchase the Green Highland Renewables (GHS) portfolio of assets for £124.7mln.

Regency Mines PLC (LON:RGM) has revealed that White Car Limited, a company in which its 100% owned subsidiary EsTeq Ltd. had invested, has informed EsTeq that it has entered voluntary liquidation. Scancell PLC (LON:SCLP), the developer of novel immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer, announced that, further to its announcement on 13 June, Martin Diggle, Co-Founder and Portfolio Manager of Vulpes Investment Management, has been appointed a non-executive director of the company with immediate effect. The group noted that Diggle has over 30 years' experience in investment banking and fund management and has been an investor in life sciences and biotechnology companies for nearly 20 years.
Primary Health Properties PLC, one of the UK's leading investors in modern primary healthcare facilities, late on Monday announced the launch of a £150mln offering of Convertible Bonds due 2025. The group said the net proceeds of the bonds are intended to be used to repay the company's £75mln, 5.375% senior unsecured bonds due 2019 on their maturity date and otherwise for general corporate purposes.
Live Company Group PLC (LON:LVCG) announced that its executive chairman, David Ciclitira acquired on-market a total of 20,000 ordinary shares in the company on the 17 June 2019, with 13,000 shares purchased at 53.5p each and 7,000 shares at 53.9p each. Following these purchases, it added, the total number of ordinary shares held by Ciclitira is 27,395,811, representing 38.89% of the company’s issued share capital.
Live Company Group PLC (LON:LVCG) is expected to achieve profitability in its current financial year, according to analysts at Shard Capital. In a note on Monday, the broker forecast that the media group, which operates the BRICKLIVE events brand, would deliver an underlying pre-tax profit of £200,000 in its current financial year, which would then rise to £1.7mln in 2020 and £3.6mln in 2021.
Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (LON:COPL) (CSE:XOP) has announced the issue of a second tranche of shares to raise £67,800 following from its earlier share placing announced on 4 June. The London main market-listed international oil and gas exploration and development company, which raised gross proceeds of £497,000 from the initial placing, said the second tranche will be of 67,800,000 new common shares at a price of 0.1p each.
