Kodal Minerals PLC (LON:KOD) has reported good progress with the metallurgical, engineering and environmental aspects of the Bougouni lithium project development in Mali.
Social and environmental technical reports are being finalised for submission while community meetings have been positive, it said.

An engineering review of the infrastructure and transport has identified significant cost savings.
Kodal added that it had terminated its sample mining contract but has 980 tonnes of lithium spodumene material ready to ship to China for testing, which would give a lot of information about how to optimise production at Bouguoni.
In-fill drilling starts again in June with first holes also scheduled at the recently acquired Bougouni West concessions.
Bernard Aylward, Kodal's chief executive, said the large amount of technical work currently underway represents 'significant components of our upcoming Feasibility Study'.
