Bonterra Resources Inc unveils mineral resource estimates from Urban-Barry Camp, Quebec

The company announced its NI 43-101 mineral resource estimates for the Gladiator, Barry, and Moroy projects, located in Quebec's Urban-Barry greenstone belt

Bonterra Resources Inc (CVE:BTR) (OTCMKTS:BONXF) unveiled its NI 43-101 mineral resource estimates for the Gladiator, Barry, and Moroy gold projects on Tuesday.  

The three gold deposits are located in the Urban-Barry greenstone belt, about 200 km northeast of Val d'Or, Quebec. 

In a statement, the firm noted indicated resources of 743,000 tonnes at an average grade of 8.46 grams per tonne gold, totaling 202,000 ounces gold at its Gladiator gold project, with inferred resources of 3 million tonnes at an average grade of 9.10 grams per tonne gold, totalling 897,000 ounces gold.

"We are pleased with the current mineral resource estimates on our three Urban-Barry gold deposits. The mineral resources delineated to date are a mere snapshot in time with further indications of continued expansion potential along strike and at depth for the three deposits," said executive chairman and interim CEO Greg Gibson.

At its Barry project, indicated resources were 2 million tonnes at an average grade of 5.8 grams per tonne gold, totalling 385,000 ounces, with inferred resources of 2.7 million at an average grade of 5.1 grams per tonne gold, totalling 453,000 ounces gold.

Lastly, at its Moroy gold project, measured resources were 302,000 tonnes at an average grade of 5.7 grams per tonne gold, totalling 55,000 ounces, with indicated resources of 365,000 tonnes gold at an average grade of 4.7 grams per tonne gold, totalling 56,000 ounces gold. Inferred resources were 396,000 tonnes at an average grade of 4.3 grams per tonne gold, totalling 55,000 ounces gold. 

The estimates were prepared by SGS Geological Services, Blainville, QC. 

Bonterra is a gold exploration company with assets in the Archean greenstone belts in the Canadian Shield. It controls three high-grade gold deposits: Gladiator, Barry and Moroy and also has significant regional targets.

It also has 100% ownership of the Urban-Barry Mill, the only permitted gold mill in the region.
