Alba Mineral Resources plc’s (LON:ALBA) 5% interest in the Brockham oil field has been boosted by an update from operator Angus Energy Plc (LON:ANGS).
Angus announced today that it has demobilised the rig used for remedial work and confirmed that a plug has been set and a downhole pump has been function tested.

The operator said it believes that, as planned, it has successfully isolated the water zone without bringing hydrocarbons to surface.
“We will now analyse the results with our partners before proceeding to the next stage which would involve bringing on site full well testing equipment and commencing flow tests," Angus told investors.
