The firm, which operates a number of exhibitions under its BRICKLIVE brand, said that AWC had been a “key sponsor” of the meeting and that the two firms had jointly exhibited the BRICKLIVE brand.

David Ciclitira, the group’s executive chairman, said the company had been “extremely encouraged” by positive responses for its BRICKLIVE brand during their attendance of the “prestigious” conference.

Live Company added that Brick Live Centre Education Development (Beijing), its joint venture in China, would exhibit six of its dinosaur-themed models at the New Yansha Mall, one of the largest shopping centres in Beijing, China.

The exhibition follows a deal for the models in March as part of an effort to promote the BRICKLIVE brand in the country.

“Following the success of our smaller tours at shopping centres and key tourist attractions across the UK, I'm delighted that our dinosaur models will now be showcased in China at one of the largest shopping centres in Beijing, reconfirming our investment strategy in our touring assets", Ciclitira said.

In late-afternoon trading, Live shares were down 4% to 54.3p.
