Gem Diamonds (LSE: GEMD), the FTSE 250 diamond producer, announced that Alan Ashworth, Chief Operations Officer, purchased 10,000 shares at an average price of 236.33 pence per share.
Shares in Gem Diamonds were almost 20% higher in trading today, rebounding with the wider market and in particular, in kind with large and mid-tier mining companies.
