Titanium Sands Ltd (ASX:TSL) remains busy at its flagship Mannar Heavy Mineral Sands Project in Sri Lanka.
In February 2019, the company revealed a significant resource upgrade to 53.08 million tonnes grading 6.67% total heavy minerals representing a 300% increase.

Drilling recommenced on the Mannar project in March with the aim of producing a further resource update in mid-2019.
Furthermore, work has also commenced during the March quarter on a scoping study that will address all aspects of the project including operating and capital estimates and potential offtake markets.

The drilling underway will test extensions to the current resource, infill drill high-grade portions of the resource, and test new target areas.
The scoping study underway is anticipated to take up to 12 months to complete with metallurgical components of the study now commenced.
Updates on the completion of various components of the scoping study are expected be released to the market.
