Graphene product specialist Directa Plus PLC (LON:DCTA) more than doubled annual revenues as its raft of commercial partnerships started to generate orders.
Total income in 2018 rose to €2.5mln (€1.23mln) with sales of €2.25mln (€1mln) if grants are excluded.

Directa has projects ongoing to incorporate graphene into textiles, pollution treatments, tyre re-treads and road surfaces.
Giulio Cesareo, chief executive, said Directa was starting to see real commercial traction across the portfolio.
“There is every reason to look forward with great excitement to the coming year's activity at Directa Plus as we move forward on a number of extremely promising fronts."
Losses for the year were little changed at €3.96mln, while the AIM-listed group closed 2018 with cash of €5.5mln.
