Fastjet names seconded deputy Kris Jaganah as its group chief financial officer to replace Michael Muller

The AIM-listed group said Jaganah had been seconded to fastjet in the role of deputy chief financial officer since October 2018, and added that Muller remained in his role until the end of March 2019

Fastjet PLC (LON:FJET) has appointed Kris Jaganah as its group chief financial officer to replace Michael Muller whose resignation was announced on 28 December 2018.

The AIM-listed airline group said Jaganah had been seconded to fastjet in the role of deputy chief financial officer since October 2018, and added that Muller remained in his role until the end of March 2019 to ensure a smooth transition.

It pointed out that Jaganah, who is employed by Bridgewater Administration Limited, a company providing accounting and administrative services to Solenta Aviation Holdings amongst others, had been seconded to fastjet for an initial period of three years.

The company said the aim is to utilise his strong IT and systems focus, together with his aviation experience, in order to drive enhancements in systems, reporting and data automation. In addition to three years of aviation experience, the group noted that Jaganah has over ten years' experience in the financial services sector, as well as four years in the pharmaceutical industry.

Commenting on Jaganah’s appointment, fastjet chairman Rashid Wally, said: “The range and depth of experience and expertise he brings will prove valuable as the Company moves forward through 2019 and beyond."
