Hochschild Mining (LSE: HOC) the FTSE 250 silver and gold producer, said that Dionisio Romero, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has snapped up 55,000 shares at 105 pence per share.
Shares in Hochschild Mining still managed to fall almost 10%, testing support below 100 pence for the first time since the Company listed in late 2006.
The precious metal mining company recently announced a production report for the three months to 30 September 2008. In it the Company said it was on track to achieve its target production of 16.9 million ounces of silver and 153,000 ounces of gold this year.
