Envisaged as an initiative to “build new housing as pace” work is now expected to start immediately, with first planning applications due to be submitted this month ahead of first home deliveries in spring 2020.
The company highlighted that the projects will comprise a mixture of open market housing, affordable rent, shared ownership, private rented sector and an extra-care development.
"We are delighted with our extension of work in partnership with Homes England to accelerate the delivery of much-needed new homes in these regions," said Stephen Teagle, Galliford chief executive.
