Hazer Group receives certification for second of two Australian innovation patents

The company is undertaking commercialisation of the Hazer Process, a low-emission hydrogen and graphite production process.

Hazer Group Ltd (ASX:HZR) has received certification for the second of two Australian innovation patents with a patent titled 'A process for producing hydrogen and graphite from natural gases'.

Hazer’s intellectual property filing and prosecution strategy, which is part of its larger intellectual property strategy, is delivering granted and enforceable patent rights.

Remaining patent applications remain ongoing and continue to be pursued as per the normal procedures and timelines of the various relevant patent organisations.

Importantly it is now enforceable against any potential infringer.

Hazer’s chief executive officer Geoff Ward said: “We are very pleased to receive the certification of this innovation patent and the continued progress of our intellectual property strategy.

“Hazer is continuing to make strong progress in commercialising our Hazer technology as part of strong international and domestic interest in hydrogen technologies and investment opportunities.”
