True Leaf Medicine International Ltd (CSE:MJ) (OTCMKTS:TRLFF) said Wednesday that it is widening its distribution to 3,500 stores after adding Pet Planet as a retail partner in North America.
True Leaf is a Vernon, BC-based cannabis and hemp wellness brand for pets.
As part of the deal with Pet Planet, True Leaf’s hemp-based pet supplements will be available in its Canadian and US stores starting on April 1.

“Today’s announcement is a testament to the quality and care we put into our products for pets,” said Darcy Bomford, CEO of True Leaf. “As cannabis and hemp products continue to gain mainstream market momentum, our fully legal hemp-based formulas have caught the attention of pet retailers in North America and Europe.”
True Leaf’s products include advanced formulas of its hemp-based Calming Support and Hip + Joint Support chews and oil supplements.

The company’s proprietary formulations combine therapeutic hemp with ingredients such as Omega-3, DHA and EPA from seafood and plants.
Pet Planet will carry the company’s line of chews and supplement oils for dogs in all 75 of its stores across North America.
True Leaf announced the details of its expanded distribution at this week’s Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida, which is the pet industry’s largest yearly trade show.
