PageGroup CEO to take leave of absence after suffering severe back injury in skiing accident

The recruitment firm will be led by chief financial officer, Kelvin Stagg, during the chief executive's absence

PageGroup PLC (LON:PAGE) said chief executive Steve Ingham will take “several weeks” off work to recover from a severe back injury after a skiing accident.

The recruitment firm will be led by chief financial officer, Kelvin Stagg, during Ingham’s absence.

“In Steve Ingham's absence, the PageGroup executive team, all of whom are highly experienced and have worked within the group for a significant amount of time, will continue to run the operations globally,” the group said.

"A further announcement will be made as appropriate."
