LATE MOVERS: Boeing shares plunge as 737 planes grounded around the world

Also making moves were Stitch Fix, Dick's Sporting Goods, Momo and ADT

The Boeing Company’s (NYSE:BA) stock continued to drag Tuesday as countries around the world have elected to ground the company’s 737 Max 8 plane in the wake of a deadly crash in Ethiopia this weekend. This afternoon the European Union announced the suspension of all Boeing MAX aircraft, joining China, Australia and others, per CNN.

The stock fell 6.2% to $375.41.

Stitch Fix Inc (NASDAQ:SFIX) cleaned up Tuesday on better-than-expected second-quarter earnings. The online clothing subscription service posted earnings of $0.12 per share late Monday, compared with a $0.05 average forecast.

The stock turned heads, up 25.2% to $33.78.

Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc (NYSE:DKS) stock took a hit after the company announced Tuesday fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $102.6 million. That’s down from $116 million a year ago, and investors haven’t taken the news well.

Shares of the sporting goods store were down 11% to $34.61.

Momo Inc. (NASDAQ:MOMO) shot up on the back of fourth-quarter earnings and revenue that beat the Street's expectations. The Chinese social networking company reported on Tuesday adjusted earnings of $0.59 per share and revenue of $559.1 million, beating average estimates of $0.52 for EPS and revenue of $532.8 million from analysts.

The share price rose 11.9% to $36.44.

ADT Inc. (NYSE:ADT) announced late Monday fourth-quarter net losses of $149 million or $0.20 loss per share, drastically wider than the FactSet consensus of $0.12 LPS, according to MarketWatch. On the conference call with analysts, ADT CEO James DeVries said that the company’s partnership with Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) was “not quite there yet.”

Investors were on alert, pushing the stock down 13.4% to $6.57.
