The German event in Cologne, which began on 9 March and will run to the end of June, was “very well attended” on its opening weekend the media group said.
The event is the first of three planned shows in Germany as part of an agreement with AWC, a leading exhibition promoter, announced in February.
Meanwhile, Live Company said the BRICKLIVE event in Mexico, to be held at the Parque Las Antenas in Mexico City, would begin on 12 April and be run with EXIM ENT, its partner for countries in Latin America.
“BRICKLIVE is becoming a recognised international brand and I'm excited to be working with our partners to deliver our shows globally", said David Ciclitira, Live Company’s executive chairman.
BRICKLIVE, which primarily focuses around the exhibition of LEGO sculptures as well as large amounts of bricks that allow visitors to build their own creations, held its first show in the US in late January at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas.
