Logistics outfit Wincanton PLC (LON:WIN) has won a new five-year contract with Aggregate Industries for the distribution of concrete products.
Aggregate Industries (AI) is part of cement titan, LafargeHolcim.

"Our existing relationship with AI has enabled us to demonstrate our commitment to service excellence,” said Adrian Colman, the chief executive officer of Wincanton.
"This, combined with our track record for delivering an efficient and sustainable specialist vehicle network, and our best in class health & safety record, were all factors in securing this contract,” he added.
Shares in Wincanton opened slightly lower at 231.98, down from 231.995p overnight.
