Renegade Exploration has a new substantial shareholder

The company’s flagship asset is its Yandal East Gold Project in Western Australia.

Renegade Exploration Ltd (ASX:RNX) has a new substantial shareholder in Paul Bennett who has emerged with 35.7 million shares or 5.01% voting power.

According to historical ASX lodgements, Bennett has been a long-time shareholder and previously had substantial holdings in the company.

The Yandal East Gold Project is located within a well-endowed gold region known as the Yandal Greenstone Belt.

The current major production centre is at Jundee, located ~25 kilometres west of the project.

The region has historically produced in excess of 10 million ounces of gold and Renegade’s permits are adjacent to and along strike in both directions from the Millrose Deposit containing 309,000 ounces grading 2.4 g/t gold.

Recent drilling shows project’s potential

A 62-hole, 7,189-metre follow-up aircore drilling program was completed at Yandal East during December.

Grades reached as high as 1-metre at 5.74 g/t gold and as thick as 23 metres at 1.38 g/t gold.

Only six of the original nine large, high priority targets have been tested and the company recently said it was well-funded to continue exploration in 2019.
