Also on the move: Roku Inc, Dropbox Inc, The Trade Desk Inc and home furnishings e-tailer Wayfair Inc

Stamps.com Inc (NASDAQ:STMP) shares continued its free-fall after the California-based internet postal company said it would no longer be partnered with the US Postal Service. "The USPS has not agreed to accept these terms or any other terms of our partnership proposal," the company's CEO Kenneth Thomas Mcbride reportedly said on an earnings call. The company says it can now embrace partnerships with other carriers who are "well-positioned to win in the shipping business" in the next five years. Stamps.com also issued poor guidance for 2019.

The stock lost more than half its value, and closed down 57.7% $83.65 in opening trades.

Roku Inc (NASDAQ:ROKU) shares jumped Friday as the California-based company posted better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings. The digital media provider reported earnings per share of $0.05 on revenues of $276 million. Wall Street had penciled in earnings per share of $0.03 on revenue of $262 million. Roku expects it will crack $1 billion in annual revenue for the first time this year, with management forecasting between $1 billion and $1.025 billion for 2019. Analysts were modeling $985.2 million for the full year.

The stock added 25.2% to $64.47.

Dropbox Inc ( NASDAQ:DBX) shares lost ground as the San Francisco-based software company reported adjusted earnings and revenue that beat Wall Street expectations. But the digital storage company unveiled fourth-quarter net losses of $9.5 million, or $0.02, compared with losses of $37 million, or $0.19 share a year ago.

The shares shed 8.4% and closed at $23.45.

Wayfair Inc (NYSE:W) shares surged as the online home furnishings seller reported 4Q losses that were narrower than expected, while revenue beat forecasts. The adjusted loss per share was $1.12, compared with consensus of $1.28 loss per share. Revenue rose to $2.01 billion from $1.44 billion, above consensus of $1.97 billion, as direct retail revenue grew 41% to $2.00 billion to top expectations of $1.95 billion.

Wayfair shares added nearly 30% and closed at $149.95.

The Trade Desk Inc (NASDAQ:TTD) posted positive 4Q results that beat Street views, prompting investors to drive the shares higher Friday. The ad-tech company's adjusted profit of $1.09 per share beat expectations for $0.79 per share. Revenue of $160.5 million widely beat analyst expectations for $148.2 million.
