Intercept Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:ICPT) stock popped Tuesday after its liver disease drug Ocaliva, improved liver damage called fibrosis without worsening the symptoms of NASH after 18 months of treatment. Intercept’s treatment succeeded in a Phase 3 study, a week after Gilead Sciences Inc (NASDAQ: GILD) failed in the same area.
Investors sent shares in the New York-based biotech up 12.3% to 124.50.

Shares in Kraton Corp (NYSE:KRA) soared after it said that its board has initiated a process to review strategic alternatives for its Cariflex business, which may result in a sale of that business.
Shares in the Houston specialty chemicals maker surged 27.6% to $37.20.
Uniti Group Inc (NASDAQ:UNIT) stock tumbled after the wireless infrastructure solutions company’s biggest customer, Windstream Holdings (NASDAQ:WIN), faced uncertainty and potential bankruptcy after losing its debt-default trial against Aurelius Capital Management.
Shares in the Little Rock, Arkansas company which owns 850 wireless towers in the US and Latin America tumbled 37.5% to $12.49.

WW (NASDAQ:WTW), formerly known as Weight Watchers International Inc, fell after JP Morgan analyst Christina Brathwaite turned bearish for the first time on the weight management and wellness company, citing continued user declines.
Shares in the New York-based company fell 3.3% to $29.28.
Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc fell after it reported a fourth-quarter loss of $0.43 per share on revenue of $1 billion. For the quarter ended December 2018, revenue grew 9.7% on a year-over-year basis.
Shares in the Coral Gables, Florida-based food producer plunged nearly 13% to $30.67.
