Integumen surges as it announces roll-out of partnership management platform

A look at the day's major movers, including Pressure Technologies, 7digital, Hardide, GLI Finance, Modern Water and Mporium

Shares in personal healthcare company Integumen PLC (LON:SKIN) were wanted after the company announced the roll-out of Labskin AI, a cloud-based digital life science, automation management tool.

According to Integumen, Labskin AI is an integrated 'laboratory to market' collaboration and partnership management services platform. The digital automation workflow tools are an extension to the physical Labskin laboratory-grown human skin-testing services for the cosmetics, wound care, health care, personal care and pharma industries.

Shares in Integumen were up 16% at 0.94p, valuing the company at £3.71mln.

2.00pm: Fatality at Pressure Technologies subsidiary in 2015 leads to prosection

The Health & Safety Executive has informed Pressure Technologies Plc (LON:PRES) that it intends to prosecute its subsidiary, Chesterfield Special Cylinders (CSC).

The prosecution relates to a fatal accident at CSC in June 2015.

A preliminary court hearing has been set for 6 March 2019.

Shares in Pressure were down 5.3% at 89p in afternoon trading.

12.15pm: 7digital lower after loan stock conversion

Embattled corporate radio services provider 7digital Group PLC (LON:7DIG) was in the wars again on Friday.

The shares were down 7.1% at 0.75p after it revealed 19.34mln shares had been issued as a result of a conversion of loan stock.

Following the conversion, an aggregate of £1,311,691 of the loan facility will remain outstanding. The holder has no further conversion rights.

Thee newly issued shares represent around 4.6% of the enlarged share capital of 7digital.

11.15am: Shine taken off Hardide as it raises funds to finance expansion

Hardide Plc (LON:HDD), the developer and provider of advanced surface coating technology, had the gloss knocked off its share price after a fund-raising.

The shares eased to 1.60p from 1.75p overnight after the company raised roughly £3.6mln through the issue of shares at 1.5p a pop.

The company plans to invest in a new UK facility close to its its existing site in Bicester. The old site will be closed down.

10.30am: GLI Finance's subsidiary hit by potential bad debt

GLI Finance Limited (LOMN:GLIF) fell out of bed on Friday morning after issuing a profit warning.

The group’s core business, Sancus BMS Group, continues on a growth trajectory but Sancus Finance, a subsidiary that operates GLI’s supply chain finance, has performed below expectations.

The group also has a £1.1 million exposure to a supply chain finance borrower that recently went into administration. The group will recognise a provision in respect of its full exposure in its 2018 accounts.

The shares were down by just over a fifth.

9.30am: Modern Water and Mporium set the early pace

Modern Water PLC (LON:MWG) shot up 15.7% to 7p after it said planning permission had been submitted for a wastewater treatment plant on the island of Gibraltar.

The AIM-listed wastewater treatment specialist carried out the preparatory works necessary for the submission to the government's Department of Town Planning, collaborating with its joint venture partner NWG Commercial Services.

"This step marks the completion of our advance works contract. Together with our partners at Northumbrian Water, we continue to work closely with the Government of Gibraltar to finalise the main Design, Build and Operate contract," said Simon Humphrey, the chief executive officer of Modern Water.

The share price of digital marketing services provider Mporium Group PLC (LON:MPM) received a much-need fillip from a contract win with a leading global sports media business.

The contract has been landed by the company’s recently launched MporiumX division.

Under the agreement, sporting events will be used to drive subscriptions for online sports streaming through the deployment of IMPACT Sports Syncing technology. IMPACT will use these events to deliver dynamic campaigns that are contextually relevant to the target audience, providing far greater engagement and scale than is generated by traditional static campaigns, Mporium said.

The firm’s shares, trading above 8p a year ago, rose 0.25p to 5.25p on today’s news.

SigmaRoc PLC (LON:SRC) the AIM-quoted buy-and-build construction materials group, late yesterday announced the appointment, with immediate effect, of Liberum Capital as its joint broker, alongside its existing broker, Berenberg.
