BATM Advanced Communications Limited (LON:BVC) had clinched a follow-on contract for its cyber communications technology from a government defence department.
The networking technology provider said the contract, worth US$3.2mln, would be delivered during the year and followed a previous order from the customer for hardware and software cyber security products in 2018.
BATM also said it was providing cybersecurity services to the department under a separate contract, taking the total contracted revenues from the customer to over US$10mln to date.#
The firm added that it was anticipating further orders from the customer in the future.
Dr Zvi Marom, chief executive of BATM, said the US$10mln+ revenue total was “testament to the strength of our offer and the high level of customer satisfaction”.
“We are receiving growing interest in our unique solution and undertaking an increasing number of proof-of-concept projects with potential customers. As awareness of cybersecurity risks continues to rise across the world, we expect this momentum to translate to further orders for our cyber products and services."
In early trading Monday, BATM shares were steady at 46.8p.
