Chaarat shares were suspended ahead of the US$55mln Kapan acquisition and are now due to resume trading on AIM on 4 February.

Chaarat said the acquisition has been completed after PMTL Holding Ltd confirmed receipt of the required payment and released the share pledge granted to it.

In 2017, Kapan produced a gold equivalent 50,000 oz, underlying profits of more than US$20mln and had gross assets of US$96mln.

Production in 2019 is expected to amount to 65,000 ounces of gold equivalent.
