Katoro Gold PLC (LON:KAT) said review and analysis by the company of all historic work undertaken on the Haneti Nickel Project (HNP) in Tanzania has now completed leading it to identify several high priority exploration targets.
The AIM-listed Tanzanian-focused exploration and development company said a new prepared work programme has commenced, with a soil sampling programme completed and ready to be submitted for laboratory analysis.
The firm said the initial focus is to be the Mihanza Hill target on the 5,000 sq. km polymetallic project, which is a highly prospective, high-grade nickel sulphide asset acquired by Katoro in November 2018.
