Bosses at Transense Technologies PLC (LON:TRT) say they are looking forward to 2019 “with optimism” after a tricky year for the sensors maker.
Shares have lost almost a fifth of their value in 2018 on the back of a slide in revenues, reflecting lower sales of its tyre probes and iTrack II tyre pressure monitoring hardware.

Offsetting that slightly has been growth in iTrack II recurring subscription revenues, meaning net losses are so far roughly in-line with those it racked up last year.
On an underlying basis, operating and net cash outflows are showing a year-on-year improvement.
