London Stock Exchange increases stake in LCH Group again

The London Stock Exchange Group Plc (LON:LSE) on Friday said it has upped its total holding in clearing house LCH Group Holdings by a further 15%.

The British stock exchange paid €424.5mln to take its holding in LCH to 83%.

The London Stock Exchange operator increased its stake in LCE in October after saying the clearing house had been a key driver of growth in its third quarter. 

LCH delivered a 5% increase in revenue to £120mln in the third quarter, boosted by strong growth in over-the-counter clearing.

Shares in LSE were flat at 4,028.0p in early afternoon trade.
