EARLY MOVERS: Entera Bio shares soar on collaboration deal with Amgen

CalAmp shares slump due to supply disruptions in moving supply chain out of China

Entera Bio Ltd (NASDAQ:ENTX) stock rallied Tuesday it has entered into a research collaboration and license agreement with Amgen Inc (NASDAQ:AMGN) in inflammatory disease and other serious illnesses. Entera said it will use its proprietary drug delivery platform to develop oral formulations for one preclinical large molecule program that Amgen has selected. Amgen has the option to select up to two additional programs to include in the collaboration with Entera.

Entera stock soared 44.3% to $7.20 in premarket trade. Amgen shares added 1.1% to $196.20.

CalAmp Corp (NASDAQ:CAMP) shares slumped because of supply disruptions in its program to transition to facilities outside China given the trade tensions with the United States. CalAmp said it experienced disruptions because of this transition, along with extended lead times driven by component shortages. This resulted in inbound product supply delays at quarter end and impacted the company's ability to ship certain products to meet customer demand, it said. These supply chain challenges, coupled with macroeconomic factors, have heightened near-term uncertainty, CalAmp added.

Shares of CalAmp sank 11.4% to $15.05.
