appScatter inks data exchange agreement with IHS Markit

AppScatter Group PLC (LON:APPS) has signed an agreement with global information firm IHS Markit Ltd (NASDAQ:INFO) to provide mobile app data.

The firm, which helps companies manage their mobile apps across multiple app stores, said the data would support analysis of the mobile games market, mobile games companies, and title performance.

The deal is appScatter’s first major collaboration with an information services business, with the data shared to be cited in the IHS Markit Games Intelligence Service as well as in press activity.

IHS Markit is a London-based information and research provider listed on the Nasdaq, it carries a market cap of around US$20bn.
