Damages have also been awarded in Benchmark's favour, though these may yet be subject to appeal.
The two patents related to Benchmark’s Artemia hatching and enrichment technologies and the court action followed company requests to MTI to cease and desist its activity.
Malcolm Pye, chief executive, said: "We are pleased the IP&IT court in Bangkok has ruled in our favour, vindicating the intellectual property which underpins the value of our innovative solutions and future product pipeline.”
Benchmark has 221 patents in its portfolio.
