The “put up or shut up” deadline for the prospective bid for shopping centres operator Intu Properties PLC (LON:INTU) has been extended.
The original deadline of 5.00pm today has been pushed back to 5.00pm, November 30.

The consortium behind the bid, which is led by Intu’s deputy chairman, John Whittaker, has now largely completed its legal, tax, accounting and commercial due diligence is now largely complete and it has made substantial progress on the financing of the possible offer.
The consortium said its due diligence has not uncovered anything that would mind it to change the terms of the indicative offer of 210.4p per share.
Shares in Intu currently trade at 195.45p.
